Social Media & Photography Internship

SUMMARY OF POSITION

The Clarence Petty Social Media Intern will assist the Marketing and Communications Department with social media outreach and engagement, blog research and writing, and outreach activities. Over the course of the summer semester, the intern will execute a comprehensive social media campaign designed to expand the effectiveness of one of our advocacy efforts (i.e. overuse, clean water, climate change) and to expand our network. The ideal candidate will also have strong photography skills and interest in spending time outdoors and will be expected to spend a portion of their time both in the office and in the field. Whenever possible, the internship will be tailored to match individual interests and backgrounds to help interns achieve their future professional goals. At the end of the internship, the intern will leave with a strong understanding of non-profit social media marketing and digital conservation advocacy.
