The Adirondack Council is currently seeking candidates for its full-time Development Assistant position in its Elizabethtown office location.

Job Description. The Development Assistant is responsible for providing support to donor relations and fundraising activities of the Elizabethtown staff of the Adirondack Council.  This support will include data management, reports and analysis, prospect and donor research, membership and donor data entry and processing, and other administrative tasks. The Development Assistant will work with the Development and Membership teams to create and implement new programs to grow the Council’s major gift programs and support.

Desired skills and experience. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree. He/she will have experience using a database (entry, reports, analysis – ideally DonorPerfect) and Excel spreadsheets. Also important are attention to detail, a good sense of humor, commitment to high standards, willingness to learn, passion for the Adirondacks. Salary commensurate with experience.
