Day in Albany
Tuesday, April 15
On Tuesday, April 15th, 2008, join hundreds of activists in Albany
calling for stronger laws protecting our air, water, and land.
Great news! Governor Paterson has agreed to be our keynote speaker!
In the morning, we will hear from state lawmakers and environmental
leaders about important bills pending in the State Legislature.
In the afternoon, we will meet with state Senators and Assemblymembers
and urge them to take action to curb global warming, increase
recycling, cleanup up brownfields, protect New York's wetlands,
and more.
The all-day event is FREE and open to all, but you must pre-register.
All participants will get a free t-shirt.
To register, simply
email Alanah Keddell in our Albany office at: akeddell@adirondackcouncil.org
