Join in the Earth Day Lobby Day in Albany
Tuesday, April 15

On Tuesday, April 15th, 2008, join hundreds of activists in Albany calling for stronger laws protecting our air, water, and land. Great news! Governor Paterson has agreed to be our keynote speaker!

In the morning, we will hear from state lawmakers and environmental leaders about important bills pending in the State Legislature. In the afternoon, we will meet with state Senators and Assemblymembers and urge them to take action to curb global warming, increase recycling, cleanup up brownfields, protect New York's wetlands, and more.

The all-day event is FREE and open to all, but you must pre-register. All participants will get a free t-shirt.

To register, simply email Alanah Keddell in our Albany office at: akeddell@adirondackcouncil.org and give her your name, address and telephone number. Or you can click here to download a registration form that you can fill out and fax to Alanah at 518-449-4839.

Please register by Thursday, April 10.

Earth Day Lobby Day is being coordinated by Environmental Advocates of New York, New York Public Interest Research Group, Adirondack Mountain Club, Audubon New York, Citizens Campaign for the Environment, Environmental Defense, Natural Resources Defense Council, New York League of Conservation Voters, Scenic Hudson, Sierra Club, and The Nature Conservancy
